Who I Serve
So why am I so interested in helping entrepreneurs grow their businesses?
It certainly goes back to watching my Mom & Dad struggle to run their own business.
My parents were pastors of a small country church and my father worked as a traditional sign painter. In other words, all by hand!
Not exactly a scalable business.
My father worked harder than any other man I knew. In the snow, in the heat, you name it, he was painting.
We were always behind no matter how hard he worked. Even so, both of my parents were always working on inventions and ideas.
The problem was that they could never get ahead to execute their ideas so the rich got richer and the poor got poorer.
However, I watched it all and learned a powerful lesson.
Where there’s a contradiction, there’s a lesson.
The contradiction… the harder you work, the further you fall behind!
So I became a true student of the process of who has what and why.
And you know what?
The really wealthy had what they had because it was positioned in a way that customers knew they needed it!
I’m not detracting from the necessity of value, work ethic, or superior service.
But just imagine if you could take a great product and company and combine it with the sex and sizzle so many other inferior companies have built their fortune on.
I have worked with clients from American Idol to Landscaping to Tattoo Shops to Aerospace. But the biggest rush I experience is in “extracting the expert” from someone who believes they are not one.
In all these cases, the person’s receipt of knowledge, coupled with implementation, has led to insane practical results far surpassing anything they had experienced using traditional business growth models.
And I get to be a part of that process!
While I am a student of traditional business, I have found that most of us in the small business arena fail because we apply principles to our business that DO NOT APPLY to our business.
What I teach and execute through both Riot Lounge and Mogulize Your Business will serve as a Force Multiplier to your business.
While it’s easy to make it sound like I do this because I care so much, the truth is it’s selfish!
Simply put, I get to see struggling companies encounter massive growth in a short period of time and that feels pretty good!
